In 2011, Cuban Cigar exclusive importer for Italy, Diadema spa, convinced Habanos to bring back to life a marca that had been discontinued for more than half a century: La Escepción. They did so with the legendary Regional Edition: Selectos Finos. Cigars aficionados worldwide were very pleased to know when, in 2015, Habanos SA announced that the Regional Edition chosen for Italy was to be sporting the La Escepción band again this time in a new format called La Escepción Don José. The Don Jose comes in a classic vitola the Hermoso No. 4 size, very similar to a Robusto, with a ring gauge of 48 and a length of 127mm.

This Italian Regional Edition was limited to 4,000 boxes of 25 cigars each, needless to say not many of them are available for purchase anymore. A very interesting Cuban Cigar with huge ageing potential as well as incredible potential as return on investment.
