Davidoff Escurio 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Cigar

In 2013, Davidoff's Master Blenders embarked on a journey to uncover new taste sensations, leading to the creation of the Davidoff Nicaragua cigar and the birth of the Black Band Collection. This collection, later joined by Escurio in 2015 and Yamasa in 2016, became a favorite among aficionados seeking bold and intense flavor experiences. To celebrate the Escurio line's 10th anniversary, Davidoff has introduced a limited-edition Gran Toro cigar. This special release combines the vibrant flavors of Brazilian Bahia tobaccos with the creamy smoothness of Dominican tobaccos, creating a unique blend that embodies depth, complexity, and craftsmanship.

The Escurio 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Gran Toro is a testament to Davidoff's dedication to quality and innovation. The blend features aged Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos with a combined age of 45 years, including a Dominican filler tobacco aged in bourbon casks for six months. This meticulous process imparts a refined sweetness and complexity to the cigar, balancing the spiciness of the Brazilian tobaccos. With its 56 ring gauge, the Gran Toro format allows the rich flavors to shine, offering a dynamic taste journey. The cigar begins with creamy cappuccino and vanilla notes, transitions to fruity and leathery tones with hints of liquorice, and concludes with spicier notes of bittersweet chocolate, almonds, and honey.

The cigars are in a numbered wooden box with a varnished Escurio pattern, enhancing the unboxing experience.

Pairing options include a Bourbon Old Fashioned, which complements the cigar's leather and chocolate notes, or a Cold Fashioned, a non-alcoholic option highlighting its cappuccino flavors. This limited-edition release celebrates Escurio's legacy and showcases Davidoff's craftsmanship, blending expertise, and passion for creating exceptional cigars that offer a carnival of tastes and an authentic Latin American rhythm.
