The Bolivar Gold Medal Cigar is the elder brother of the recently released Bolivar New Gold Medal.
This Bolivar thoroughbred measures 165mm in length by a 42 ring gauge. Its younger brother, the New Gold Medal, shares the same length but comes with a thicker ring gauge which is in line with current trends.
The original Bolivar Gold Medal reminds us of a bygone era, when Cuban cigars abounded across the many specialist cigar shops.
Full flavour and unashamedly so, these Lonsdales have been aged in our humidors since their release in 2007 and, as their box date certifies, they are part of the very first batch release.
