Cuban toro cigars cover roughly 140 to 169 mm with a 48 to 57 ring gauge — the Sublimes, Geniales, Cañonazo and Dobles vitolas — and run to about an hour.
The toro is where modern Havana blending has moved. The extra length over a robusto gives the blend room to change, while the thick ring gauge keeps the smoke cool and generous throughout. Almost every recent Cuban launch, from Behike upwards, has been built around these proportions.
