It is the most popular Havana format for good reason. The ring gauge is wide enough to carry a complex filler blend and keep the smoke cool, and the length is short enough to finish in one sitting. Almost every marca puts its house blend into a robusto, which makes it the fairest way to compare one Cuban brand against another.

The catalogue includes the Partagás Serie D No. 4, Cohiba Robustos, Montecristo Edmundo, Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills, Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 and Juan López Selección No. 2.
