Cuban perfecto and figurado cigars are shaped at both ends — closed or tapered feet, bulging middles, salomones and diademas. This is where Havana rolling is at its most difficult.
A figurado changes as it burns because its diameter changes: the draw tightens and loosens, the smoke concentrates and opens, and the same blend delivers a different experience at every stage. No two figurado formats smoke alike, which is precisely the point.
The whole Cuaba marca is built on the shape, and the catalogue also holds Ramón Allones perfectos, Bolívar and Partagás figurados, and occasional diademas and salomones from Punch.
